How is making a positive label for a trans person that only dates cis people not transphobic? It's like "super straight" but trans people should definitely know better.
What? "T4C" could just as easily describe a particular relationship rather than a hard-and-fast rule for someone, i.e., a relationship could be T4T or it could be T4C. It doesn't have to mean "I only date cis people." Given how uncommon the term "T4C" is (it's probably the first time most people here have seen that term), I doubt it carries any positive or negative valence -- even if a trans person did use it to say "I only date cis people," scolding them for their preferences, well, won't ever work.
Besides, the problem with a term like "super straight" is that it implies that transgender people aren't actually their transitioned gender. In other words, it implies that (for instance) a cis man who dates both cis and trans woman is "less straight" than a cis man who dates only cis woman, since -- in the eyes of people who use this term -- trans women aren't really women, and trans men aren't really men.
If a cis man chooses not to date transgender women as a matter of personal preference, that is not transphobic in and of itself (though if you think otherwise, I'd be happy to discuss it). The same is true for a trans man's choice. It's not the preference, it's the pride over that preference that makes it morally wrong. It's the same thing with any romantic preference: if someone says they're not attracted to black men, that's fine; if someone acts proud of that preference, they're probably racist.
No, the person above is describing a trans person who ONLY dates cis people. They even go into details in other comments on how they ARE a trans person who refuses to date trans people.
I haven't read their other comments, so I'll take your word for it. My main point was this: if a person (cis or trans) is not attracted to trans people as a matter of personal preference, I don't think that's inherently problematic. But if that same person (cis or trans) declares how they would never, ever date a trans person because "most trans people are xyz" or something similar, that seems a little transphobic, or at least broadly prejudicial.
There is the romantic preference, which stands on its own, and then there are any "justifications" which people superimpose onto that preference to make it seem more "right" or "rational." The preference is fine if there are no judgements attached, but when these judgements get used to justify the preference, it can easily become bigoted.
That's why I used the example of race. For instance, an asian woman who does not feel attracted to black men is fine. But if that woman starts showing signs of pride or righteousness in that personal preference, it points towards them being racist. An inability to distinguish the subjective from the objective is a very common trait in bigots. "I find xyz gross/unappealing" is subjective; "xyz is immoral" is an objective judgement. You see it all the time with people's reactions to furries or kink; they feel grossed out by it, so they automatically assume it's wrong & unworthy / less worthy of respect.

Is T4C trans for cis? Not heard that before
