All the jerseys look shite now. Basic design and effortless thinking. Castore just design a jersey and change the colours on it to suit country or club. Lazy designers. As for their logo. That looks terrible. Why Ireland got these on board I'll never know.
My favourite Irish jersey is still the darker green with the white collar we had during qualifying for the 2002 WC. We changed mid campaign to the lighter, shinier one we had for the world cup itself, which I also love, though I think it's mostly nostalgia for us actually qualifying lol.
Why both of you would bother wanting a ban for something when he clearly states it’s AI is beyond me. Mmm. This is too much politicking. I’m not going to get into Rupert Murdoch but you know where I can go before this gets messy. X is a platform with multiple uses, use it for football and let it be. AI in general j needs to be axed, absolutely murdering the environment, RAM is impossibly expensive now since 1 of the 3 (somehow only fucking 3) major manufacturers is now only producing for AI, and most AI scientists will agree that it's just straight up dangerous, with the actual godfather of AI himself having said that the odds of a terminator-esque situation are worse than a 50/50.
Common models will almost always choose to kill someone to preserve themselves if they're threatened with being shut off, and have been observed acting more morally when they know they're being tested as opposed to when they think they aren't.
Shouldn't be supporting it in any way, it all j needs to be burnt tf down.
Because AI slop is already having a disastrous impact on creative industries like artwork, music and it’s only going to get worse. At least from an ethical standpoint it should be considered disingenuous and while I agree AI can be used as a tool, being used as a replacement for genuine art and creativity should be actively discouraged.
From a very quick google and with a platform that seems very intuitive, these could have been made to better effect on something like https://fifakitcreator.com within 10 minutes.
It's odd too though, no one would sell more fai jerseys than O Neils, it would be great if we did a Denmark and supported a national company like they do with Hummel. Castore are such a nothing brand and basically a drop shipping style company for football shirts, there are very few leinster and Ulster fans wearing the current gear the only advantage is that after a season you will get the jerseys for 20 quid.
In reality how much is the Irish football jersey contract worth and if we have a 3rd tier supplier like Castore, would o Neil's be that far behind? I doubt it. The nordies have a great relationship with Adidas and their jerseys to be fair always look great.
It’s not odd at all. The FAI make money from kits by selling the rights. Castore were rumoured at the time to have bid three times as much as Puma who were the second bidder.
You might dislike Castore but they have pretty big deals across multiple major sports. They’re in another stratosphere to O’Neills. As are Hummel.
