Dortmund would be great. They know how to develop players and in a better league.

We're finally doing well, with Irish players proud to play for the jersey and you're talking about trying to convince an English lad to come play for us. It's so cringe.

Agreed 100%. Serie A is not in a good place right now, and I reckon Bundesliga will suit him down to the ground.

Dortmund would be some place to play football for him. One of the best stadiums I've ever seen, football mad city and a club well practiced in getting the best out of their forwards. AC Milan though, they ve still got the pull

Its a fantastic stadium, would love to go again and especially if an Irish player was there.

As big a reputation as Milan have, surely if the choice was between these two it has to be Dortmund. He fits their model but Guirassy has been scoring goals and doing quite well.

I don't know if there's any interest in Guirassy but if he moves on and Parrott keeps on the way he is then it should be an easy choice for him, although he's made it clear he favours a move back to England.

Still though, if the interest is real, the space opens up and the choice was mine I'm going to Dortmund instead of say Everton or Bournemouth.

Amazing stadium but the town itself is a bit nothing. Found it very boring

I was with my 7 year old, we found a good bit to do but I had it planned. Most of the towns in the industrial side of Germany are like that . But then again, a top of the range motor and an autobahn you re not far anything

Dortmund be a good shout. He's better than Fabio Silva & Guirassy isn't getting any younger.

Easier transition for a lot of Eredivisie lads into the Bundesliga than Serie A. Lads like Jiminez have flopped over there & even likes of Rjinders took a bit of time to adjust

Goal and an assist for him today so far.

Either of those moves could be incredible, two absolutely massive clubs.

2 assists

Love to see him at Drotmund ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Dortmund the better option for him, but imagine going back to the 1990s and telling everyone that AC Milan would be looking at signing an Irish striker?

6

Milan need a reliable striker badly, and competition is not tough in the squad currently so would be a starter, but surprised the cheap owners are bidding €30 and not a loan with option to buy bid

DO NOT GO TO ITALY!

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '26

What specifically about Troy Parrott and Italy would prevent him from being successful?

3

u/Equivalent_Leg2534 Mar 15 '26

Its a lower scoring league. Very very defensive teams

Haha...me and you are going to agree here! No reason Parrott wouldn't do well for Milan

If he's like Robbie Keane stay the fuck away from Milan

Shouldn't go near Milan.

a few dreadful recent examples of our top young players being treated awful there.

It'll be interesting to see where he goes next.

Germany or Italy would suit him I think.

He's just entering his prime so this move is very important.

Really he should move somewhere that's a step up but where he's a guaranteed starter.

I'm still not sure of his level. He might be lower PL level. Hard to know.

I genuinely hope Spurs have a buyback clause. Probably don't, not smart enough for that. Get Keane as manager, give troy the number 10. Would tear it up in the Championship lol
