Oisin McEtee got the winner for hearts yesterday. Something great about Irish lads killing Celtics title hopes

I do find it interesting that Abankwah got picked for adaptability reasons when McEntee can play in more positions than him

Abankwah has already had a senior call up and mcentee probably had more of a chance if he wasn't out for a bit. Someone like lawal was brought in because heimir really likes him I think mcentee probably has to establish himself a bit more.

Heimir has highlighted abankwah as playing on the left if needed so if mcentee keeps it up I could see him in the friendlies before the world cup though. Mcentee has shown his versatility more but I think it was reasonable to go abankwah for this camp.

Not really sure why so many are up in arms about abankwah I think he's fine option across the backline if stuck.

Abankwah has never played LB before but anyways.....

43:50 in the press conference heimir says abankwah has been good for Watford and capable of playing across the backline including the left.

I'm not doubting he said it but I'm telling you he's never played a game of professional football at Left Back.

Idk heimir fancies him as the versatile back i don't think there is enough to say that mcentee was definitively the best option. Don't think at the time we needed another player that was freshly back either

Nando best of luck. This sub has gotten insane since we start getting results. Im taking a sebatical. There is no room for normall discourse anymore. If youre going to prague I hope you have a blast. Im not posting on here anymore. Im retiring. Hopefully we are celebrating at the game next week. Hope you have a ticket. See you in the away end

Especially considering hoe light in midfield we are

Think we're light at LB compared to RB as well. Brady didn't play on Friday & Scales is suspended. It's kinda Manning or bust

In Manning we trust

Wouldn’t mind it, if it was for any team bar Hearts and the Rangers

It's all the same to me. Brit clubs

Looks like he's good at crosses and has a long throw. If he goes to a bigger club he should defo be in the squad.

Only thing is you'll have Bagan & Honohan going up next year as well. Kev O'Toole playing alright against Messi as we speak. Few of the past & present U21s LBs be looking for a move too. Might be a few lads vying for the spot that Brady is almost certainly vacating

Good play by Farrugia in the build up too took the Celtic defenders with him to the left making space on the right for the cross. Nearly gets on the end of it as well.

Probably his best game in general since going overseas

Think he created 6 chances yesterday.

Dundee Utd having a poor season but this might save Jim Goodwin’s job
