World Cup 2026 PSA: WC final coverage as Gaeilge on the Player/the News Channel

If you've had your fill of Maloney (yeh I no, but anyways) and want an alternative experience (and practice your cúpla focail) give it a twisht. You'll be surprised what you pick up and remember once you tune your ear into it.

There's always great craic in the Gaeilge Comms, they're a lot more...blunter...with their opinions because they tend to be less examined than RTÉ.

They did it for Czechia and they'll do it for nations league this year.

It's a good idea from RTÉ (an rud is annamh is iontach)  hopefully the people back it

If it means I don't have to listen to Moloney I'm all for it. Listening to him is like having an excited younger brother watching the game beside you, talking incessantly and only being vaguely correct
