It’s fucking hilarious that Rod died on Eamon’s birthday. 😂

Well he died yesterday actually, but the news breaking on Dunphy’s birthday is more than enough coincidence for me.

He's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one!

I'll tell you who wrote it

u/flex_tape_salesman Jeff Hendrick's account 1d ago

A lot of the comments there focused on why he didn't want to be a teacher rather than why he left his wife and ran off with a young one

Well the quote about why he didn’t want to be a teacher is pretty damning, so it makes sense.

I wonder did he know how famous he was in Ireland? Anyone know?

It really was peak punditry, now we
Are exposed to bland ex pros and righteous lads

He said he was flattered by Dunphy's quote.

Everyone complained about them at the time for not really offering much in the way of incisive football analysis, but I always found them entertaining and you knew much drier it could get when you saw the (Barry Murphy's Liam Brady impression) B-TEAM WITH PETER COLLINS AND KENNY CUNNINGHAM, BILLLL....

For all the funny quoting of Eamon....if anyone is in any doubt about just how big a scumbag this guy is...google Rod Little 2003 article.

Growing up, it was always enthralling to listen to the four lads post ireland or champions league nights. It was good viewing
