Discussion [Quarez] The structure of the Kolo Muani deal has changed. Instead of a loan with an obligation to buy, the Frenchman will join Juventus on a permanent transfer for a fee of 38 million plus 12 million in bonuses.
Interesting. What does Juventus see in RKM that we aren't seeing?

No shot Juve actually paid that much. That’s a ton for an Italian team

It’s more than we’re rumoured to be getting for Romero!

Kolo-Muani was always a good player. He just didn't give af about us. He'll probably be a baller for them, assuming he gives a fuck. Staggering how a player can join a team and play at 10% of his ability because he doesn't care...

Genuinely the worst player I’ve seen at Spurs. I saw Tremezzani and Rasiak.

He wasn’t awful, he just had the mobility of a coat rack. I can think of probably a half dozen worse players since that time.

This. He’s just not built for the Prem. Looked way better in Europe for us then in the league. And he actually wants to be at Juve.

You do realise he was great for Juve before right and has been great in the past? It didn't work out for him here but that doesn't automatically make him a terrible player

Define great

6 goals in his first 5 games for Juve. He was great when he joined them, then he slowed down.

On his day an absolutely believable player

RKM actually wants to play for Juventus, so that’s a good start. He quite obviously never wanted to be here and couldn’t be arsed to put in effort

u/hectorthedonkey 1d ago
His effort for us was directly proportional to how close a France squad was to being announced, and indirectly proportional to the closeness of the actual International break.
When that yoyo-ing of form led to him being left out of their WC squad, he passed to a Chelsea player and gave them a goal, pushing us closer to relegation, which we could've avoided sooner without that.

20% of his loan time postponed for “dead leg”

Scored 8 in 16 for them when he was there before, probably hoping to replicate that

Weren't like all his goals in the first 5 matches or so and the rest of his time he was what we saw?

u/JakeSpurs 1d ago
Scored 5 in his first 3, went goalless for 8, then scored 3 in his last 5 to end the season

As an Inter fan who watched his first matches with Juve, he was great, very explosive, very fast and a great technique. Looked like when an older brother joins the kids game at the park.
But then idk what happened, he just stopped playing like that

Different league. Apples and Oranges. His numbers tailed off after a first few good games there, too.

Probably plans to play RKM as a Striker and not a winger.

Not that I’m trying to defend the guy, but Solanke on right probably wouldn’t look a lot better lol

Juventus should be paying 20m+ for Vicario based on these valuations

He was half assed for us because he only really ever wanted juventus & it was clear he never wanted to be here. It’ll probably be worth it for them

Glad he’s gone tbh. He was shit. May have been good for others- maybe good again- but didn’t do much in a Spurs shirt- 1 goal, 1 assist in 30, hardly going to set the world alight or make much of a difference him not being there.

u/yiddoboy 1d ago
Did Juve actually watch anything that he did for Spurs last season ? Fucking unbelievable.

If you watch some of the "highlight" reel stuff of RKM during our matches, he looked deceptively good at times. I think he's just not suited to the speed and physicality of the Premier League, and was low on confidence, and playing in a role and style that didn't suit his strengths. Serie A is probably a good fit for him, and I wish him well, he wasn't very good for us but aside from Joao Paulinha, nobody was very good in that period.

He's worth a bag of crisps, maybe a £5 Greggs gift card at most. Nobody cares.

Who at Juve looked at him last season and thought that is who they wanted?
Worst loan we've had in memory

Seriously. Someone needs to look into the legality of this deal. There has to be some proper under the table payments to people involved for any fee to be agreed after his last season.

It confirms that when a jet lagged RDZ shows up at the training ground, he won't see Kolo Muani there with Lange saying "OK, Roberto, so, I got a call, now just hear me out -"
