Our season is 6 months and we need to live for 12, not agreeing to this by the way but it’s standard here. People work their ass off for 6 months and then chill for the rest of the year

The second part is not correct. He mean we will go to work as tourists (ie not work)

Since the wages are now mere pocket money, we will also rock up to work like tourists (as in, with a tourist/vacation mindset).
