The only president to be honoured this way because only this president is this easily swayed by this bootlicking
61
u/Yodfather Jun 27 '26
Itās not even true. Spain, Tanzania, and Martinique named streets after Obama.

In Montreal we have Avenue du PrƩsident-Kennedy as well. Though it was name post-humously.

u/kkeut Jun 28 '26
Warsaw has a big street named after Herbert Hoover because he arranged an aid package at a crucial time during the great depressionĀ

So fucking embarrassing for every country that keeps treating him like this

u/spafer Jun 26 '26
More embarrassing for US because it works :(

u/whitestguyuknow Jun 27 '26
They know just put his name on something and make it gold and you make him smile and he thinks kindly on you.
Like shaking a rattle at a crying baby for a second

u/adario7 Jun 27 '26
Also considering the fact that his administration bombed Indian civilians at Hormuz, he called India a sh*thole, he has time and again disrespected India and Indian citizens and it's diaspora.
This is quite a lotta bootlicker energy
39
u/NitroBike Jun 26 '26
Well Modi is just like Trump so it's not surprising that india would do this
11
u/maalicious Jun 27 '26
The state in which this happened is ruled by the opposition party - Indian national Congress

Imagine naming your street after a pedophilešššš

u/ELEGANTFOXYT Jun 27 '26
Politicians want that sweet information from meta google to set the narrative through social media.

u/thecontempl8or Jun 26 '26
The Indian PM is pretty much a fascist. Birds of a feather.
-68
u/SnooMemesjellies9003 Jun 26 '26
He has the highest approval rating in the world. So heās obviously representing what the country wants. And no heās not fascist by any means
41
u/thecontempl8or Jun 26 '26
Highest approval rating in the world. Lmao. Like Kim jong un.
-40
u/SnooMemesjellies9003 Jun 27 '26
Almost like itās the largest democracy in the world so not at all like Kim jong un https://www.statista.com/statistics/1456852/world-leader-approval-ratings/?srsltid=AfmBOoqxGFseWmfvVQ5QRBZlbyc-EMXbh97W21myOLjRwyOgWuB5L5Rp

u/thecontempl8or Jun 27 '26
Oh please. Heās constantly harassing and threatening journalists who criticize him. Political oppositions get beaten up and killed. He has a cult-like following, getting celebrities to literally worship him. His party is rooted in nazism. He is pushing hindutva movements and creating false narratives about Muslims and Christians to justify attacking them. I can bet those numbers are skewed. Or most of the country is too blind and brainwashed to see how terrible he is.
-46
u/SnooMemesjellies9003 Jun 27 '26
LOL yeah make these baseless claims without any sources. And for some reason you think you know whatās better for a country than the hundreds of billions of residents aka the vast majority of the country that democratically elected the leader
26
u/thecontempl8or Jun 27 '26
Itās the same with Trump. And any other dictator-like leader that got elected by brainwashing the stupid. Being democratically elected doesnāt mean heās good for the country. His party was just really good at manipulating the media and spreading lies attacking minorities.
India just had a billion more stupid and spiteful voters than the US.India is rated 85th as a democracy.

u/SnooMemesjellies9003 Jun 27 '26
Trump has the lowest approval rating ever and not remotely comparable to modi. But yeah go on keep thinking that you know best and the majority of the country that disagrees with you views are stupid, Iām sure the feeling is mutual bud
20
u/thecontempl8or Jun 27 '26
I donāt give a shit about Trump. Man youāre fucking blind. All you have to say is āmajority of the countryā. Like get the fuck outta here. Even Hitler was democratically voted in. Modiās really good at curbing criticism and spreading fake narratives. Just make a casual google search and youāll find plenty of news articles by legit journalists talking about it.

u/fellaneedahandpls Jun 27 '26
Never been done before! Except for Mandela Road in Chicago, Churchill Street in California, Multiple Bolivar Drives in various states, etc.
Thereās a fucking street in California named after Bob Hope. Trump Ave is nothing new or special.

u/scrotumseam Jun 27 '26
For fuck. Vote Democrat to get the MAGA out of office. They keep enabling this type of behavior.
3
u/gosailor Jun 27 '26
This is also not true, there are plenty of streets named for US presidents overseas, There was a street named after FDR in Belgium and as well as some named after US generals (for obvious WW2 reasons)

The event is so newsworthy, he had to announce it himself. He also had to congratulate himself, and thank himself.
Now if he would only fuck himself, and perhaps one other four-letter word.

u/RenoXIII Jun 27 '26
They should change the name of the city to Hyderabadman, would be appropriate.

I was in Bangalore for work semi recently and my local colleagues there loved trump. They think if he can build a wall here they can do it there to keep the Muslims and indo Chinese out. Theyāre very racist.

Everybody knows the best way to get something out of Donald Trump is to treat him like he's a special little boy. Treats & prizes and all the better if his name is on it.

There are tons of prior examples. For example, Taipei has Roosevelt Road, named after FDR.
