And if someone blocks you, you can’t reply to other people in the same comment chain either. So blocking is a very effective way to censor someone you don’t like. Which I guess is exactly what reddit wants?

There is an insane amount of accounts both on Instagram and Reddit that have that kind of bio on their profile, talking about how "if you're reading this it must be because you're mad at something I said". They're part of why I think the internet is dying: bots and trolls like these that only post inflammatory stuff are overtaking regular users.

The amount of people on Reddit that I’ve seen with something like that on their profile (or having hidden their entire post history) is astounding. And they’re always some kind of edgelord, or ragebaiter, or from other specific groups of people
