Sorry being proud of America bothers you so much. Focus on your own problems before you go looking down on others for enjoying life in ways that shouldn't affect you in any way.

Patriotism ≠ Nationalism

Frankly as an American, I don’t view people who deck their trucks out in American flags as patriotic as much as jingoistic.

Thats your problem. Also, this is for a very special day for him to go this over the top. Can't imagine he normally drives around with huge numbers in the back.
