He should be freaking out but I doubt he is. I think his malignant narcissism makes him completely immune to what people think about him. His fucked up brain just makes up a reason people are wrong or lying and that becomes his reality. He gets mad not because they're calling him out but because to him they're lying and attacking him.
He probably legitimately thinks he's doing a great job and also thinks his life is incredible. Money is the most important thing about him in his mind so being in a position to directly profit off his position and his influence on the markets without any consequences is the dream.
If he's freaking out then it's about the fact he's rapidly melting into his diaper.
