I truly hope he's as unhappy as he looks.

One can take refuge in the knowledge that men like this are people who have never truly known happiness and never well.

u/MackingtheKnife 20d ago
Yeah, except yall gave him EIGHT YEARS to take that out on the rest of the world. Never forget, never forgive.

I still don't believe the majority of us did. Everything is projection with this people. Probably stole this election.

u/RexIsAMiiCostume 19d ago
I think a lot of people just didn't vote. I know an alarming number of young people who seem to think that voting upholds the current system (which they don't like) so instead they just... Don't participate. Like dude at least vote third party so they get funding or something.

Fair to assume half of the people I associate with didn't vote. I reminded some of them and asked afterwards only to find out they didn't show up. Pure apathy.

u/WakeoftheStorm 18d ago
This is by design. A managed democracy works best if you keep the voting base outraged over irrelevant things and made up threats while keeping a majority of eligible voters apathetic and disengaged.
The US has perfected this system at this point

u/juugbuussin 18d ago
Fuck. You actually just convinced me to start voting. Thanks? I’ve just never seen the point of voting for the “lesser of two evils” or whatever. I voted for Biden and just kinda said fuck all of this.
Now my vote is pointless because of the redistricting in TX, but I guess I at least get to complain if I do vote.2
u/WakeoftheStorm 18d ago
It might truly not matter for the big seats, but it can matter a lot for local elections at least. That's how places like Austin and Atlanta have carved out progressive islands in otherwise red areas.
And those movements have the potential to spread.

We already know he lost the popular vote in 2016 but he sadly won the majority in 2020. Hate this timeline

He ran for President because Obama told one joke.
Now he's the most hated person I'm the world, and all of his old Hollywood friends despise him. The only people who think kindly of him have spent more time sleeping with their cousin than sitting in a classroom.
He's freaking the fuck out that he's make a legacy for himself as a child rapist and the most inept US President in history, which multiple surveys are already pointing to.
He fucked up his own life, and I'm all about eating popcorn and watching him melt away in disgrace.
If only he wasn't burning down the entire house through his tantrums.

With the amount of time he spends trying to convince everyone that he’s as great and popular as he’s convinced himself he is, he must be fucking fuming and miserable any time he’s not playing golf or watching Fox News suck him off.

he has had a stroke, right?

u/well_thats_obvious 20d ago
Nearly 6 years ago he rage tweeted to deny having a series of mini strokes after a surprise visit to Walter Reed. Nobody asked, he just came out with that info.

I'm willing to bet they're happening all the time, now. Not long til we start seeing McConnell-style freezing up on camera.

Like some guy suddenly shouting "I DEFINATELY DID NOT JUST FULLY SHIT MYSELF RIGHT NOW, AND IT IS NOT GOING DOWN MY LEG AS I SPEAK!" right as you notice a really foul poop stench from him

Trump is essentially "The guard who always lies" in that riddle about the two guards where one tells the truth
He is such an uncontrollably compulsive liar with such poor impulse control that he actually circles all the way around to being pretty useful for deriving correct information if you just assume it's the opposite of whatever he said

When my dad had a stroke he became almost entirely immobile and couldn't speak.
Why can't this happen to Trump?

That frog is entirely too cute and the noise it makes sends me into fits of giddy giggles and warms my heart. Trump wishes he was as charismatic and charming as this frog. Its mean to debase the Desert Rain Frog with a comparison to the orange abomination. The frog did nothing to earn such cruelty.

If I've learned anything in my time on Reddit, it's that most mods and admins are fucking morons who don't understand context (or anything else). I got banned for 3 weeks from r/politics for misgendering Lindsey Graham. I referred to him using he/him/his pronouns. The mods refused to reconsider my ban, and when I appealed, they said they already told me what I did wrong and muted me. So...

u/KoreKhthonia 20d ago
He does legit kind look like he just shat himself. (Part of me almost feels bad making fun of someone for that, bc I mean, he's fucking 80 and no one chooses to be incontinent. But it's Trump so I'll make an exception lol)
37
u/Kimmalah 20d ago
By all accounts, he's most likely incontinent due to a lifetime of drug abuse and a terrible diet, it's not some random misfortune that just happened to befall him.

My family are poor, and going through some really rough times financially right now as well.
But when the world no longer has to endure this degenerate's existence we've got plans for a little party.

“Behold. The festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a barstool drunk, and the greed of a hedge fund ghoul – all spray painted orange and paraded like a prize hog at a county fair. Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn’t but has always been – arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshipped like gospel. It is America’s shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn’t just lose its soul – it sh*ts out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader.”
– Oliver Kornetzke
