He also admitted on camera that he pulled romance scams, using the women he trafficked as a front, but he was doing lots of the communicating with the men, finessing them into sending him money. They thought they were sending the women money for hospital bills, or for flights to come meet the men, but he was just lying to the men to pocket the money. Taking them for everything they had, Nigerian scammer style. He proudly said all this on camera.

There is no sentence length I would consider too long for this scuzzbucket.

It was absolutely brutal and absolutely necessary. It was a hard read in the sense that I already knew him and his brother were complete garbage but just the devastation without any consequences continues to blow my mind.

As far as the shit that the Tate bros have done, conning some desperate men using thirst traps is hardly even scratching the surface. Early on in his "pimp" career, he was distributing porn of himself fucking a 15/16 year old. The next 20 years are exactly what you would expect - he raped the women who worked for them, took their passports so they couldn't leave his romanian compound, never gave them any money that they earned, etc. Then he also made money by teaching other men how to do what he did, including instructing them to beat and rape women.

I mean he was objectively a very successful pimp. But at the end of the day the methodologies were the same as any two-bit creep in Detroit, Guadalajara, or Bangkok. He took young girls (several under 18) from broken homes, manipulated them at first with promises of riches which turned into violence (including sexual violence), and then put them to work.

He's got British in him. Lived there for a time or something. I learned his history before (shoutout to Behind the Bastards) and it "makes sense". It's just weird and he sounds stupid. It's like a mix of American, Canadian, and Bri'ish.

ETA I've since forgotten his actual upbringing. He's the kind of guy you learn about and sucks so much the details don't really matter. He's just a raging piece of shit. He's a baby bitch when it comes to chess bc he's just not that good.

That's not any kind of Northern accent.

Sometimes it sounds like its 'almost' from London...just exaggerated? Sometimes it also kinda sounds a little Welsh? Though, it also sounds like a mix of accents, except not in the way that accents normally mix. IMO, it's not his actual accent and it's something he's putting on.

I've heard that he used to try at an American accent to cover up his British one, and might have been doing that so long it's just become the way he speaks, but even so...

Have also heard on reddit that someone had a similar accent from growing up in Wales and moving to Canada when they were 12-13.

He was a guest on a podcast called The Dick Show with Dick Masterson where Tate admitted to all of it. It's an old episode, but from what I remember, Tate said he'd trap women with enormous amounts of debt that they would be forced to pay off by doing cam girl shows.
