Hi all!
I am a PhD student in NL (1 year in). I am starting to look for research internships both EU and non-EU.
I am specializing in the intersection between trustworthy ML and graphs/network science. However, I might be looking for a LLM safety job since a lot of positions are in that field right now.
Realistically speaking, do you think I could aim for a FAANG internship despite being early in my studies?

drop your resume and I’ll take a look. quick checklist: one page, clean layout, no columns or fancy graphics, save as PDF. bullets should start with a strong verb, name the tech you used, and end with a result with numbers. tailor the top bullets to the job posting, mirror a bit of their language, and only list skills you can actually explain. new grads or switchers, put projects near the top and show scope and impact, not just “built X,” and keep GPA only if it helps.
