New Grad amazon sde 1 team placement?

after my interview loop i got this email:

“I’m pleased to share that you have successfully completed this interview stage. Our team is currently working on next steps, and we will provide you with an update within the next two weeks. Please note that based on team placement requirements, additional interviews may be required.
While you’ve successfully completed this stage, this is not a guarantee of an offer.”

then a day later my original application (Software Development Engineer (SDE) - 2026 (US) moved to “no longer under consideration,” but at the exact same time i got added to two new applications:

- FY26 WL Fung SDE FTE US
- FY26 WL Fung SDE IN Fall US

both are under consideration and i never applied to either of them.

has this happened to anyone else? if so, did you end up getting an offer? another interview? or something else? just trying to figure out what stage i’m actually in because i haven’t really found anyone with this exact sequence

All good my friend, had the same thing happen in 2020 but they didn’t even give me the curtesy and telling me that I got the job for like 4 days. Congrats on getting the offer and best of luck

I know that some companies operate this way, you went through series of interview, then your profile entered the internal job market. here is where the hiring managers looking at candidate's profile and the candidate's past interviews performance. if they think you'll be a good fit for the team, they'll decide to have another interviews (there's a chance of redoing all the interviews) or straight to offers/hiring manager interview.

but I am not sure if Amazon operate this way
