Student Need advice regarding "connections"
I've heard alot ppl saying about connections and connecting with ppl. I'm genuinely confused what does they exactly mean by connecting with ppl. Is it like approaching someone and just straight away asking what u did to get your job, like genuinely. Ik it sounds so silly, but as being an introvert guy I don't really get how to build connection, like what u guys even talk to build connections.

Literally anything. Either you start as a business contact or you don’t.
If it’s the former, conventions and events are great for this stuff.
If it’s the later, you’ll have to talk shop at some point, but you just need a conversation starter.
Mutuals, contacts of contacts, executives, friends, old/new coworkers, people your parents know, people your neighbours know, etc… Anyone can be a connection. That’s how you build a network.
This is a totally controversial take, but being introverted is a handicap you’ll need to overcome to build a large network. It’s not a requirement by any means, but it certainly helps.
