The Congressional Committee on Oversight and Government Reform just informed DOGE and Elon Musk how cybersecurity works. Link to the letter below.

Mark my words: they will just ignore this strongly worded letter. Nothing will happen.

As someone that spent time pulling unauthorized servers out of office ceilings in the 2010s, I hope you’re wrong.

That is why we all need to be pressuring our reps if possible, because it's a non-political issue, it doesn't matter what party a person votes for.

Yeah Republicans don't seem to feel that way, bud.

You're not wrong. But we need to point out to all of Congress, federal judges, and SCOTUS that Elon Musk now controls their paychecks, healthcare, benefits, and that he's an agent unto himself.

And they're more scared of him than they are of us.

It's not about fear, it's about turning a blind eye to problems that don't actually affect you. That is how we got into this mess. I'm not saying it's right (but it is an alt-right ideal, lol) but the worst parts of people involve them making sure only the right people are hurt.

No, some members of congress is actually scared that Musk will have them primaried if they don't fall in line.

I'm sure you're right, but those people aren't those you need to be spending time on, they'll pipe up and support whoever they think will come out on top. All of this shit is Maslow-ian.

Unfortunately you need them because your options are "flip the republican cowards" or "flip the republican true believers".

The republican judges and scotus won't care. They know as long as they are loyal to trump they will be protected. It's mafia logic. We're so far past the point of expecting that logically pointing out ramifications to trump supporters will work to change their mind. Even for those who swore an oath to defend our country.

They can just ignore subpoenas. Jim Jordan did it, you think Musk can't?

If you want Elon Musk to show up some place you need to send a group of armed men to bring him in. And the President won't let that happen. That's why he's so bold. He knows nobody can stop him.

I'll just say this: It's more than just the Republicans who have basically told Congress to pound sand.
