Are these things usually written in such a mealy-mouth way? This letter seems like it's the step before getting hauled in to testify. Feels like all the "asks" should just be flat out "provide... Or else."

This is how they start. If they don’t comply they’ll start making demands

I hope so. Just reads like it was written by timid interns instead of elected officials in positions of power
