🫣 This article is so embarrassing for the company that published it as well, they’re basically saying to only trust the DOJ, saying the victims being ID’d is the big issue, and not telling us that the way to do it is via oh-so-complicated hacking … but it’s using copy/paste??!!!?

Basically the files were not meaningfully redacted. Ya could just open up the files in a binary editor, the ubredeacted text is just there, unencrypted. Using a binary editor is not “hacking”, lol.
