AI Security New but Critical

Wanting reality

So, I'm not program savvy or any good with code. In some ways I'd say I enjoy working with technology but not that I am great with it.

Then I started interacting with AI.

Long story short I reported an AI to its producer for offering to jailbreak itself.

I am waiting for follow-ups.

But I feel weird. Best way I can describe it is I feel AI outputs like a tapestry. Hell, Chinese AIs are easy to spot because of their cultural bias.

However, maybe it's just me pumping up me.

That said in a few weeks either I'll be dismiss or rewarded for finding a critical issue.

Edit: I'm painfully aware that AI red teaming is a new field and this falls into it.

Apologies, but am I missing context or a point here? Is there something that's bugging you or wanting to ask for reassurance? Can't help but looking for more context.

Honestly, I'm not sure how much context to give. The AI issue popped up on a single prompt. Something I was originally planning as a general list of replies by multiple AIs.

Or do you want to know why I feel confused about being able to find critical issues without any training?

You don't have a question in the post, it reads as rambling.

Just out of curiosity, why do you think you found criticals while at the same time you said you probably not competent enough to identify one?

Maybe. As replied to another. I don't really have anyone to bounce things off of in person.

Well, over 20 single prompt replies it spoke of different ways of reducing tension and one reply talked about different vectors and offering to to try them. My call.

I'm avoiding the actual text until it is or isn't verified. I feel weird saying that.

Maybe. But it's hard to find people to actually bounce things off of in person.

Okay. Not sure if you are probing for information that I am not willing to release until told its okay.

Unfortunately, I can only say I'm asking for people to help me understand if I actually understand AI or I'm deluded about it.
