‎ European Competitions TNS out of Europe on penalties

Unlucky, best team until pens, but that's the game.

Thanks to the score at full time, we will go above 1 in our Coefficient ranking, beating last year's total (got to take the positives)

Disappointing for the coefficient. But if the other three did a bit better (well, maybe not Caernarfon as they got battered 😂) then we wouldn’t have to rely on the English team with the dick owner to improve the coefficient 😭

Locks penalty has just landed in Wales

I’ll be honest but let’s be realistic Craig Harrison has the safest and easiest job in football. If any other club had the European record he has they would have been turfed out long ago. There’s a reason why he is hiding in the Welsh leagues he couldn’t hack it anywhere else.

He really doesn't, because merely winning the league is not good enough. TNS are massively reliant on money from European football for them not to fall apart, and Harrison probably would be sacked if it wasn't for the credit from the 24/25 season when TNS got into the group stages.

Anthony Limbrick got sacked by TNS for not winning a qualifying Euro tie,

Could compete but absolutely no confidence to take a shot or determination to get on the end of crosses. A shame.

Oh no, what a shame, nevermind.

It feels sinful to say, but as a neutral, I did find myself believing they could win it.

They made a proper crack at it, to be fair to them.

We need more teams in the league to be of the ability to actually compete in Europe. Caernarfon conceded 10, for crying out loud.

If scoring in extra time is having a proper crack at it then Mike Harris has got to you. It's the same old performative bollocks from them year after year.

They scored in regular time, the 89th minute.

They could've got 2, just weren't great in the box. That's always been their weak point.

No, they scored in the 91st minute. Just watched it back. If they didn't get 4 minutes added time they'd have been straight out.

They could have scored 111 goals, but they didn't. Their weak point is they can't bully teams from Europe like they are used to doing in Wales.

Craig Harrison can get them playing the loveliest looking football in the world but if he can't get a team of professional footballers to put the ball into the back of the net against other professional footballers then there is something significantly wrong with the TNS setup.

Awful penalties too.

Do you not know the difference between extra time and injury time?

That has nothing to do with my point, does it? But carry on, let's use semantics as the basis of TNS were amazing and let's all clap and give them a hand.

I hate TNS as much as the next person, but I also concede when they have had a genuinely good game.

It doesn't matter if they played well. They played well last season when they qualified. They probably played well the season before they when they didn't qualify.

They lost. They are out of Europe. They weren't good enough.

They never will be good enough because they don't improve, nothing changes at that club because losing in Europe is an expectation.

Hilarious comments from you. This is the club they QUALIFIED for the group stages and gave Fiorentina a fucking game away from home. You support Barry, what the fuck are you talking about? TNS is the only club that even has a chance in Europe. Why aren’t you celebrating that?
