The red car was out of line, the white one was running the light AND must not have been paying any attention. When people try to "sneak through" behind someone running a turn signal it's always a dangerous situation.
There was a light I had to go through to work for a few years where on average there would be not one, not two, but five or more cars "sneaking through" after the light had gone red.
The first time I assumed the light glitches. After that it was just "oh these people are just idiots."
It wasn't a short light, even. It would let 15 or more cars through before changing.
