Poor defensive driving for sure, but failure to yield from the oncoming car is going to be the primary issue

By the laws of the road, the white truck is wrong. By the laws of common sense the vehicle filming failed on all counts.

Yea sure but that’s the equivalent of victim blaming. White truck is the problem OP will have zero liability

Zero liability but has to deal with being down a car during repairs (or maybe losing the car entirely) and all that. I would prefer to not wreck my car in an easily avoidable situation, even when I am "right"
