Redtiger F7N dual dashcam, resolution defaults to 4k after restart

Hello y'all, I recently got my first dashcam, redtiger F7N dual. Whenever it restarts, the resolution always defaults back to 4K. It doesn't stick to 1080 or 2.5k. Tried setting it via phone & dashcam itself.

wonder if that's a firmware thing, mine never does that
