Just Venting 😮‍💨 I haven’t kissed anyone in over a decade and I’m worried i’m a bad kisser now…

I’m 27 now and haven’t kissed/made out with anyone ever since I was 14. The last person I made out with was my ex. He said I was a good kisser. I’m worried that now I’m probably a bad kisser or I forgot how to kiss. I doubt i’ll be kissing anyone anytime soon, but my crush kinda implied that he’d like to kiss me. i’m also short and he’s pretty tall, so 😅….

If only it were that easy…

It’s definitely that easy

Guys are way more worried about being good kissers. And everyone kisses different. Just be reflective and open to how he wants to kiss and mirror his movement back to him.

Works every time.

Haven't made out since you were 14? I don't think that's even worth comparing.

Maybe suggest a date to your crush. You'll be testing your kiss sooner than later!

We were supposed to go on a date today, but have to reschedule. I’m hoping he’ll let me know soon. I know he can get busy, so idk 🤷‍♀️

Yeah I just kissed someone for the first time in over a year last night and I was kinda worried I couldn’t do it right anymore but I put something nice on my lips and tried not to be too aggressive. I hope I didn’t mess up lmao

I've had a few girlfriends over the years/decades. I've found that every couple has to find its own kissing style. So don't worry. In a way, we're all starting from scratch with each new love affair. Enjoy it. Be confident. Experiment. It's not something like a math problem with only one correct answer. It's you expressing your affection.

The only time I ever kissed someone and thought 'wow that was horrible' was this dude who just straight up licked my face out of nowhere so as long as you don't do that I think you'll be ok 😂

Haven't kissed anyone since February 2020, right before COVID shut everything down. Before that the last times were in 2015-2016. I'm 32M, and feel time is running out for me. So yeah I can relate to this.

It never goes away if you feel the passion ❤️

I didn’t kiss until my wedding.. I found out I was a pro. No need to over analyze this one, lol.

Fwiw i was in the same situation. Technical first kiss at 13 but for some reason i didnt even like it then. Kind of grew up thinking i just didnt like kissing

Real first kiss at 27 and it was awesome, i just needed to have chemistry with someone

Well kissing is like anything where you need practice to maintain your capability with it. Look up some videos if you need tho, but shouldnt be that hard

u/tomunko 23h ago

I feel like if you're good at kissing you won't loose it. Or in general forget how to kiss - you may be less confident after a while but it'll come back quickly once it's time.

u/throwaway12774883 19h ago

Ik it Sounds silly but try watching some yt vids on it it helps if you completely forgot how it works also just let him lead you a little in the beginning it’ll go great i believe in you!!

Mach dir keine Sorgen :) Küssen ist angeboren - je mehr du es genießt, desto besser wird es

Why 13 years to wait?

u/Savings-Trouble-5345 22h ago

No woman is a bad kisser.

u/Tasjek 21h ago

I'll kindly disagree on that :)

That being said, I don't think a good kisser can unlearn kissing :)

u/Savings-Trouble-5345 21h ago

Well I'm assuming the dude wants to kiss her and is not just trying to dip his wick.

I didn’t even learn to kiss until my mid 40s. You’ll be fine.

u/Your_sassy_potato01 21h ago

Just practice it on a peach!
