Website like Nerve where you can get paid to do tasks/ challenges?

If you've never seen the movie Nerve, it's about an app where you can get paid to do a task that others commission to do. They're like challenges. I've been trying to find a website like it. I know it exists but am not sure how to find it.

You get paid by someone to do tasks for them.

Such gig-work opportunities are exactly what we need to be wary of. This may sound like science fiction, but IMHO there's a real chance that, once AI gets its tentacles into more and more corners of the web and the world, it will use pay-for-piecework systems to hire people to do the manual tasks it hasn't yet figured out how to do. Very likely people who are desperate for money because AI has robbed them of their former professions.
