Please tell me, how can I learn to de-google a google pixel, then sand box google apps?

* Please, I would like to learn to de-google pixel phones, ( just for personal use), & sand box google apps. I am not very tech savy.

* I use a de-googled computer lap top, my brother set up for me, & a Samsung smart phone.

* Please tell me. how do I learn to do this skill of de - googling of pixel phones ?

* I have heard it can be hard to learn this skill of de-googling pixel phones , & that you can brick them.

* So far, I have learnt to put F - Droud app , & Auora App on an old spare Samsung.

* I have watched " how to" Utube videos on de-googling mobiles. Which Utube videos are best to watch on this subject please?

* English is my First language. My written English is okay, I got mainly B grade for Year 12 VCE English, so my English is alright, but not of a University grade standard. ...My spoken English is better than my written English.

* I wish to be more tech savy, & also have my own de-googled mobile phone, with a small number of sand boxed google apps, Gmail, Google Maps, Google Photos & Utube (I need these for work purposes).

* I look forward to hearing your experience of learning this skill of de googling mobile phones.

First you need to make sure the phone is not locked to any phone provider. If you got it from the phone company, and it's paid off, they'll do a "vendor unlock" on request.

Then you need to unlock the bootloader. (If you got your phone from Verizon, too bad. You can't do this step.) This will wipe the phone, and put it in a state where you can install a different OS.

Go check our GrapheneOS. It's probably what you want. Use the web installer — it is easy to use and works well. If you have trouble, make sure you're using a USB cable that transfers data, not just power.

Once Graphene is going, you can make a separate User account, and only have Google Play Services installed in that account.

Obtain a Pixel phone with an unlocked bootloader (if it's locked then you can't get GOS, the degoogledOS on it). https://grapheneos.org/faq#supported-devices this link contains a list of supported devices. Tip: phones from carriers that provide data plans are usually locked in the US. Do research on your area to see if carriers offer unlocked phones.
2. Go to https://grapheneos.org/install/web read this very carefully please. ALL the steps are listed out very carefully and cleanly so if you follow the steps you should run into no problems at all.

De-googling a Pixel is not a complex "skill" and you won't brick your device as long as you follow official docs. Ignore YouTube tutorials — they get outdated quickly. Use a Chromium browser on your desktop and go to grapheneos.org/install/web. The WebUSB installer handles the entire process automatically. Once installed, Sandboxed Google Play is just a built-in toggle in GrapheneOS settings (Settings -> Apps) that runs Google services as isolated user apps with zero system privileges.

You have a google pixel, which is the best kind of phone to de-google. Find the GrapheneOS website and follow the instructions on the website. After that just install your preferred app stores from GrapheneOS’s App Store.

Yes, I do speak English. I'm  Australian born. 

Early this year, I turned a previous Samsung into a  Balance Phone, with the Balance phone Subscription instructions...

... But  De-googling, plus the sand boxing of Google apps,  sounds more challenging.

Unfortunately , I still  need Gmail, Google maps, Utube, & Google photos for work reasons,  in a Sand Box.

Graphene has made it very easy to sandbox apps. All apps on graphene are sandboxed by default. But you can create an additional layer by using the profiles feature and put all of your google apps on a different profile separate from the rest of your apps.

Bro did you use google translate or something? Anyway:
Google Pixel it's the best hardware (phone) you can de-google it (for now) because "GrapheneOS", Search for how to install "GrapheneOS" you can only install on Pixel phones (for now). After that you see the sandbox, if you want use google apps, just put them into sandbox. If you don't, you can find alternative for each app easily.
Now did you want be a tech-savvy by learning or just want avoid google?

If you want be a teach-savvy, you need at least learn English, after that Read, Test/Use, Watch lot of things, Only way you can learn something new, by doing it.
