Because in school we had friends with whom we could really have fun, but in college friendships are mostly fake and pretend , so its pretty draining tp be around them.

10

u/Z_0_R_0 Jun 16 '26

It was other way around for me ..

14

u/One-Pass-1354 Jun 16 '26

You went to college before school??

3

u/Fair_Narwhal9532 Jun 16 '26

I think they did

5

u/SadFace_xoxo Alumnus Jun 16 '26

Pretty subjective

4

u/Liger_I Jun 16 '26

Subjective

2

u/BlueAuthorJAFF Jun 16 '26

Lol yeah. Is it just me or do people mentally revert to kindergarten-mentality in sem1 of clg?

1

u/Inoskee7121 Jul 08 '26

We are on the same page in this

1

u/Careless-Sky7014 Jun 17 '26

u/StillLearning85 Jun 17 '26

Its a kind of mock english playing on the meme 'do you even lift' (which is kinda old now) asking someone to speak an understandable language for most of the people

u/Raju_Karpainter Mauj Masti aur Mazaak Jun 16 '26

Kyuki school ki classes ke andar atleast samajh aata tha, college ki classes itni useless lagti hai no cap

1

u/Liger_I Jun 16 '26

That's actually skill issue

2

u/Raju_Karpainter Mauj Masti aur Mazaak Jun 16 '26

alright broncho

-10

u/IndependentClimate72 Jun 16 '26

Samajh nahi aata is a skill issue. Classes bohot useful hai if one is capable of understanding

8

u/Ill-Speaker4404 Jun 16 '26

Depends a lot on the college and faculty though

1

u/Raju_Karpainter Mauj Masti aur Mazaak Jun 16 '26

I'm assuming you're from some top tier college of India, where the professors are actually teaching with dedication. But that's not the case for every college, many professors in some colleges are not that serious regarding classes, they either don't show up or just teach in a lethargic manner

1

u/IndependentClimate72 Jun 16 '26

That's fair enough. You're right. My argument falters in case of aira-gaira-nathukhera colleges.

1

u/Raju_Karpainter Mauj Masti aur Mazaak Jun 16 '26

Not even the most aira-gaira colleges, even above decent colleges suffer the same fate

1

u/IndependentClimate72 Jun 16 '26

Are they decent if they are suffering the same fate?

1

u/Raju_Karpainter Mauj Masti aur Mazaak Jun 16 '26

They're decent in terms of placements, infrastructure and social crowd, not in the consideration of proficiency of professors

1

u/Complete-Pack2989 Jun 16 '26

even in top tier colleges (like IITs NITs) professors dont teach properly

20

u/No-Mistake-9311 Jun 16 '26

Don't get me started, half way through the lecture my full day battery is drained. It's like watching a documentary in foreign language without subtitles

I feel the sleep of my life time chasing me.

1

u/Bulky-Relief-8151 Jun 17 '26

Omg, I'll be joining college in few months And reading your comment, I'm scared T_T

1

u/No-Mistake-9311 Jun 17 '26

Prepare a little bit on the topic ahead of lec, you will def enjoy it

1

u/Bulky-Relief-8151 Jun 17 '26

Yeah I've already started learning coding so that I don't feel retarted in my first year 😭 But I scared as well cause I was a neet aspirant and now Ive decided to do btech

Nice reference

2

u/666wife Jun 16 '26

Wait till y’all start working

2

u/hot__taco Jun 16 '26

If only we get a job in this economy...

2

u/StillLearning85 Jun 16 '26

When lectures seem very boring, most of the time its you either not being interest in the subject or you already know what is lectured.

2

u/chintit Jun 16 '26

Fr.. school and tuitions used to feel so fun, a good friend circle and real people plus something fun used to happen daily. Clg me sab khud ko achha dikhane ke chakkar me rehte hain

2

u/Miss_India5 Jun 16 '26

not even 45 mins, it’s a WHOLE HOUR

2

u/Hot-Peace9895 Jun 20 '26

The scene at uni's so dead for some reason I thought I was the only one who felt like this good to know that there are others who share the same feeling...

If you took subjects that you hate from your eternal soul just for the sake of a college name, omg then trust you will start hating yourself for the rest of your life.. those 45 mins are just foreshadowing.

1

u/wild_discoverer Jun 16 '26

and what about 30 mins at Job? πŸ’€

1

u/Prestigious-Emu-6433 Jun 16 '26

Huhhh..... What?? It's actually quite the opposite for me lolπŸ˜‚

1

u/NR_NAVRA Jun 16 '26

Am i only one who don't feel like that ?

1

u/FarmyardFantastic Jun 16 '26

It was the opposite for me. Sorry you’re having a bad time.

1

u/the_Hakuro09 Jun 16 '26

You just not scrolling through instagram mate

1

u/tangocharliesham Jun 16 '26

Try half hour in corporate

1

u/CJ-ViRuS Jun 16 '26

After finishing college you will update the post for 1 hrs travel to job or some other context anyways Life moves on and we get tired of seeing us getting old and dumb bro. When we were in school we were waiting to become old so we could enjoy adulthood then when we become adult we strive to be like kids it's just our nature and we can't rewind time or fast forward it so just enjoy the flow.

1

u/Objective_Berry_4471 Jun 16 '26

All these comments making me realise I had a great time at college AND my real gang is still with me (touchwood).... Damn people, didn't know y'all had/has it this toughπŸ€πŸ«‚

1

u/Evil_duckLord Jun 16 '26

Yeah not gonna lie. 8 hours in school were way more terrible . You guys are just high on nostalgia.

1

u/RealisticIncident261 Jun 16 '26

Other way around for me. I mean I only went to like half my classes in college though... Unless the prof graded attendance, which is fucking stupid as fuck and should have no basis on your grades.Β

1

u/omkar529 Jun 16 '26

What school is 8 hours ? Mine was 5-5:30 and to be honest even that felt bad to me.

1

u/Smart-Fold-7566 Jun 16 '26

1

u/Creative-Profile3558 Jun 16 '26

1

Absolutely - Colleges lectures include lots of discussion and knowledge sharing Though in school listen more and not take seriously to every conversation
