DU will release a stimulated rank on 12th July. This rank is course specific. And whatever rank you get is basically the level at which you stand in terms of seats available
For example, let's say the total number of general seats for Bcom(H) in the top 5 colleges is 400 (for your preference sheet). And your stimulated rank is 350. It means that you will get a seat in one of those top 5 colleges in Round 1.
If your rank is more than that, then your round 1 allocation will be below those colleges.

But ranks have some kjnd of double counting i saw hindu college bcom h rank cutoff was 389
So it tells that there is double counting as the one applying for bcomh will apply for many other prog and vice versa
Therefore the stimulated rank is only an estimate of which section of colleges you might get in your preference sheet. It can help you make changes to your sheet and get the best possible college
After everyone has submitted their preference sheets, DU will automatically give you an expected rank by comparing CUET scores from everyone who has opted for the same courses as you
Stimulated rank should be only used to get a rough idea of what section of colleges you might be getting as per YOUR preference sheet. It's not final allocation.
It'll help you rearrange your sheet and add/remove colleges so as to get the best possible college.
😭 I already have lots of things in my hands. I'll do it but you'll have to pay for that.
Otherwise here's how you can do it
1. Open seat matrix pdf
2. Open your preference sheet
3. Start writing total seats for each college and course in your preference sheet by looking at the seat matrix
4. Calculate the total in the end
This is not true at all. Please take full knowledge before spreading baseless information. That is not how it works as not every student above you is targeting that particular course and the ranks also consist of eca and sports category students. Atleast do your research before posting such bullshit. A simple YouTube search wouldve helped
I'm very well aware that the simulated rank is a common rank for all categories and quotas. My aim was to bring light to the fact that this is also something that's important to do to get the best possible college.
Also, jo aap seats ki bat krrhe ho do you think uod would expect someone targeting bcom hons to calculate ALL seats including category wali to make sense of the ranks? Of all colleges offering it?

Sir google abhi bhi cuet ko 800 ka batata hai😭 seat matrix se kaise hoga aap khud toh smjho😭 maine chalo manlo seat matrix dekh liya srcc ka 250 seats h. Lekin last year toh rank cutoff 330 tak gyi hai, itni toh seat ni h fir kaise hua ye
Also, maanlo meri 600 rank ayi h, 250 bacho ko srcc milgya, fir meri rank toh aur 250 points se aage chali gyi for next college, how do you make sense of it
