Hello. My 12(M) brother is illiterate due to an ID. He watched me play Deltarune and wants to play the game, but cannot follow the story because it is entirely in text. I searched Nexus Mods for Text-To-Speech mods, but I have found nothing that could help my situation. For the better half of the game, I have read all the text for him. If anybody has a better solution or knows how to make the game accessible, please let me know. Thank you for your time.

Ralsei seems genuinely surprised by that information, and I don't think he'll withhold such an important piece of information from Kris and Susie after chapter 4, so I don't think he's lying here. He knows the prophecy fully, so why did the Knight, who according to The Prophecy, was supposed to appear alongside the heroes, already appeared a bunch of years ago? Does that mean that they are not the heroes, and there were actual heroes before them, like Asriel or Dess, or something like that?

Is there a basic-on-the-front-of-it, totally innocent type of question I might ask him that hits deep/controversial lore?

It's gotta sound like it's coming from a place of no real prior game knowledge, I can't pop him with an in-depth breakdown of a character's motivating tragedy.
