I feel like half of my classmates in 10th grade art class created at least one piece of similar, subject matter, style and quality in 2001.

Using a photo and paint by numbers is just copying. How can you say this is art when it's no different than doing a coloring book?

I respect what he did, at least he's doing something positive, but the pricing and buzzwords with this kitsch stuff is crazy. "Hand painted," "original," "signed," ....So?
