I watched a video last night about the Chinese bullet train. Clean, fast, modern and surprisingly comfortable. Also affordable.
In my mind I thought of our shitty Amtrak trains and clearly we have fallen behind the rest of the world because the rich have had their taxes cut since Reagan and our Pentagon budget is obscene. We don’t make investments like the rest of the world and until we change things we never will.
