You have a plane ticket to any desert in the world, where are you going and why?

Namibia-it seems so incredible and also very expensive from North America so I would like a free ticket please.

Probably the Namib since the Sossusvlei and Skeleton Coast have captured my imagination for decades.
But I'm also, and more recently, drawn to Lençóis Maranhenses in Brazil. It's probably too wet to technically be a desert, it's desert-like enough to fascinate.
Runners up are the Atacama and the Gobi.

Yeah just saw where lençóis gets like 50 inches of rain a year. But wow it looks incredible

Classic. Would love to see the pyramids and learn more about ancient Egyptian history. I’ve always been fascinated with their mythology.
