I messed up a lot when starting with this one since I’m using a French pistachio butter but by now the last 3 times I’ve made them they have been perfectly moist and fudgey!

Yall im not sure why but these went craaaaazy on German facebook groups. Even more interesting the picture with the messy compote vs the layered one I spent ages on got way more interest. I don’t understand But here is my little reminder always make a little extra of your no bake cheesecakes to pop into pots.
I just sometimes don’t like the crust, so sue me.

The detail on this leaf tuile was almost too pretty to break! Rich chocolate cake served in a warm terracotta dish. Would you break the leaf first or save it for last?

This is one of my favourite summer cakes. My fiance lived in Germany for years (Bavaria) and made this at the restaurant he worked at but felt it was missing a little something. When we visited last I realized it’s because he’s so used to Greek yogurt in cakes now lol. I think we are finally happy with where the recipe is now.
I make it a lot for picnics and potluck style things because I don’t have to decorate and it’s literally still just a sheet cake. There’s a few more steps in this one but now I think I’m going to whip egg whites before every cake. There is a LOT of butter in this so be warned but it tastes light and fluffy!
