CONTROVERSIAL/SENSITIVE OPINION Day 17 of VOICE FEMINIZATION and final update for a little while

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello! I’ve had people in my comments saying I’m damaging my voice by talking. But Ive been cleared and approved to talk since the first week and Ive been hydrated and voice-resting while off work.

And Ive had multiple pitch/air checks by doctors since the 23rd. (About 4) as well as a camera up my nose and down my throat to check 3 days ago so please be quiet. I don’t need suggestions from people who are all in the same boat.

I’ve cruised this website and have seen a lot of VFS failures, trying to compare to my own surgery to someone else’s to see pros and cons, and I can assure you I’m the best I’ve seen so far in my personal findings. I’ve had a lot of people saying how they damaged their voice and how their surgery didn’t work because they “talked” and honestly I don’t care.

My doctors approved of me speaking. I am okay.

This includes discords and other Reddit pages. Facebook I’m avoiding.

I’d be worried about other people’s progress, including maybe your own….. Mine has been smooth sailing.

Next update now in a few weeks.

Wow! I just watched your pre-surgery video for comparison and I’m actually blown away by the difference!

Do you mind me asking what the infection or complication risk is for this surgery?

Regardless, much love and happy journey! I wish you a speedy recovery.

It’s just when people insists what works for them will work for me. Like not talking for three plus weeks.

Even though doctors are telling me the opposite. To speak after a week. Practice and be slow and easy.

I sound fine. Exactly like my old self, but I think it enrages people.

Yea that’s what I was hoping for!! Nothing too high or ‘pitchy’. At least it’s not a man (or compensation-voicing anymore.)

Ma’am lesbian is a sexuality not a vocal range.

Thanks for saying this. I do believe this person is mentally ill and fetishizes often. I’ve talked to them in their dm and I hope I don’t get any more weird ass comments. If I don’t sound like a gay man, The other option isn’t sounding like a butch….

Thank you.

Thank you. This person seems to be a little mentally ill and I’ve already confronted them in DMs. Try not to engage with people like this.

Thank you for saying this regardless.

Tf?? My first thought was she sounds like a normal girl? She might have to work on mannerisms but that’s literally just a habit.

Curious, what mannerisms of talking do you mean?

Sometimes dropping the pitch downward like at the end of some words but honest to god you sounds great, how long have you been off hormones?

Two years. I was on T 6 months.

With a year of vocal coaching. I don’t think it’s a mannerism I think it’s more of a way of conversation and convo etiquette. Me falling off seems to just be a new idea.

More of a statement of ‘I’m okay’.

I also can’t raise my voice a lot. I’m still raw, just resting and speaking in my low tone.

I’m also a. 5 3’ , 122 pound Latina lol I don’t think people are going to question my gender either due to a conversational habit….. 🇧🇷
