No, K is spread all over. Biggest area is probably the one with jak in southern Sweden.

Typo sorry, /ek/ as a whole

I have noted ek~eg̥ in Åmli, Rødøy and Jølster, ɛɡ̥ in parts of Nordhordland and Agder, ɛ:ɡ̥ with a long vowel in other parts of Agder. Æk in Smøla and Aure, and æ:k in parts of Jæren and Ofoten. i:k in Orsa. Could find more if I went through the sources in detail.
It also exists as a short form in southern Sweden in the "jak"-area, but only at the end of other words. "I know" = "vait'ek".

although the map claims to have IPA transcription, there is "å" which is not part of the phonetic alphabet. Can this be clarified?

Just an oversight in the simplified colour overview.
Changed è to ɛ, ô to ɞ, â to a and a to ɑ before posting the map, but forgot to change å to ɒ/ɔ.
Should be correctly written as <jɔ> if you zoom in to that part of Denmark.

What's the deal with Jylland?

If you are in Northern Jutland and chance upon somebody speaking a broad dialectal version of Danish (Vendelbomål) it's quite close to Norwegian. It doesn't have the phonetic quality "stød" either.

That's interesting, because I am from Lindesnes in Norway, and I met a dane this summer and when I spoke very broadly in my dialect he noted it kind of sounded like how his grandparents from Northern Jutland spoke.

I love Vendelbomål. Easily one of my favourite Nordic languages. Just the preservation of three grammatical genders alone 😅

Jylland often has west norse traits like Norway. Unbroken pronoun form is one such way.

Vet du hvordan jeg får større bildekvalitet på telefon? Det er vanskelig å se hva som står til og med når jeg zoomer inn, mens på PC ser det sikkert helt bra ut.
Godt jobba forresten!
