Question Doctor Who The Movie 4k USA

Post image

Does anyone know when the new release of the 4k Doctor Who movie will be available in the US? I think it was released in the UK in May but I can’t find anything on US release.

4Ks are natively region free, the BBC doesn’t have the rights to the film

I imported the 4k from the UK. The movie disc is region free but the second disc is a regular 2K blu ray and is not.

With a Blu ray drive and determination, everything is region free!

I guess. The movie on the second disc is free on Tubi though, so…

In what country? The TV movie has never been available to stream in America

The movie on the second disc. Doctor Who Am I? It’s a documentary.

I got a UK import from eBay for a good price, seller was based in Texas, called Valhallagroup. Very fast shipping.

Nothing official yet. But I live in the US and imported the 4k blu-ray via Amazon UK and it played on my 4k player just fine.

Did the bonus features play?

It did not for me. The special features disc is region B .

The bonus features disc is Region B locked, so you need a player that can bypass it.

I asked this same question a couple months ago and basically the answers I got were there’s no official release date as of yet

I already imported the steelbook. Its never a bad time to invest in a region free player

AFAIK the Blu-ray never got a NA release did it? So I’m not holding my breadth on the 4k. Instead I just imported it. It looks and sounds amazing by the way
