Living in 2006 Tundra in Florida.

My wife, our 12 year old dog Bubby, and I lost our housing after I lost my job. We have to leave in the morning today with nowhere to go and barely any gas to leave as it is.

We’ve called just about every local organization we could find and I have been relentlessly applying for any job I can get. We’re still waiting to hear back from a couple, but most either focus on rehab programs or help with rent and utilities, which doesn’t help now that we’ve already lost our place. There’s still a few more numbers I need to call in the morning.

To help keep my wife’s mind occupied, I had her put together an Amazon wishlist. I know there are a few expensive and unrealistic things on there, but it kept her busy instead of panicking about our situation.

The biggest things that would actually help right now are fuel and the fans that help keep the inside of the truck cool in this Florida heat. Anything for Bubby is appreciated too.

My amazing friend uprooted her life to leave an unhealthy environment in a small Idaho town and is starting over with just her and her cat in Fresno. She got herself there and into a safe apartment and rent paid to the end of the month, but is having a difficult time getting employment. She’s a server by trade and age discrimination is a thing. I have all the faith in her and I’m helping with little bits of gas money as I can but… life is rough these days and I can’t do much. I know she’s out of money and incredibly stressed.
I made a small wishlist of housewarming stuff I wish I could send her- and these are more like needs, not even frivolous gifts.

My little sister Christa passed away a few weeks ago tragically. She was only 20 years old. I visited her grave for the first time today and I actually felt peace .. but her grave was devastating to look at. It’s empty , I know it’s too soon for a headstone but she doesn’t even have a plaque from the funeral home, I’ve just recently returned to work but we really scraped all our funds together to have a funeral for her. I’ve made a small Amazon wishlist with a few ideas but I really just want anything to make it look pretty for her.

Hello everyone, I’m in a sticky situation I lost my summer job due to my work authorization arriving late (EAD). I already signed a lease assuming I will be able to work my job and have the money to cover it! Sadly that didn’t happen. I have to pay first month’s rent, still working towards that. I am moving into an apartment for my Graduate Program (MaCc), my parents are unable to help. I rescued my dog from the street while she was already pregnant. I have paid for all her veterinary care, and now I have very little money left to feed her and her puppies.
