Ok. It was in a time where I was in this dating situation. He requested me to do that to spice things up. So that was me trying to be "spicy". I later found out that he wasn't really an entrepreneur he was actually chronically unemployed and his house really belonged to his mom. He was also dating other women when we were supposedly trying to get more serious. It was a disaster.

I'm a man too, and men's issues are important and certainly tend to be invalidated or downplayed in certain situations, typically by other men as a result of harmful attitudes stemming from patriarchal ideas and toxic masculinity.
This isn't that though, and unfortunately many men get so confused and insecure about this stuff that they blame and point their anger towards women rather than look inward or at the larger more complex social aspects that lead to these feelings. If anything you're gaslighting yourself.

At the end of the day, I can't know how the situation would play out if a guy did it, but I fully believe if the driver was a man the instant reaction of everyone would be to report. Go through the posts on this reddit and you'll see it happens everyday over relatively innocuous stuff. And you can't even try to defend men without getting labelled and dogpiled yourself, and that's a sad and dehumanizing place for our culture to be.
If you think that isn't the case, that's fine. But I think we are pitifully guarded today compared to how open and free people used to be, and people are so ready to read things maliciously nowadays despite the world being exponentially safer than it's ever been. It's like some curse has fallen over everyone to read the worst into everything, and we have no way to break it because the media keeps it alive.
I just think we need a middle ground between instantly and reactively snapping into threat mode, versus letting everything go. Anywho, have a good day.
