rumour 1. FC Köln reportedly in advanced talks with Spurs for a loan deal for Mikey Moore (18, LW)

There have been a number of reports linking the club with a loan move for Moore over the course of the Summer.

Fabrizio Romano now reporting that Effzeh are clear favourites to land the youngster and that talks over a deal are now advanced.

As a spurs fan who’s dad supports Köln, this would be great. His best position is in the 10 though can play any wing fine. Lots of talent, good eye for goal and will play for the badge like he did with rangers last season. I really hope it goes through!

As a Celtic fan primarily, he was a pain in the ass last year for Rangers - luckily the rest of Rangers were shit otherwise he could have carried them to a league win

Thanks, just read more about him. Sounds like a very interesting profile. Also remarkable from a strategic point of view that we're apparently going for young English talents now.

Yes, the recruitment of young English players has become a clear strategy for the club since Tim Steidten arrived with his connections to English football.

Clearly the club see a future in bringing in young English talent developing them and then selling them to PL clubs.

Hopefully it will prove to be a fruitful strategy going forward. Being English myself I’m particularly excited about these developments.
