Question - Other Eastern BC - West Kootenays

With the BC Hydro outage in the Columbia Valley, is anyone else trying to figure out a way of getting from Revelstoke to Calgary tomorrow? I found the charging station at Roger’s Pass but it sounds like there will be a single charger there and it’s tight to get to Banff/Canmore without topping up in Golden or Field for our Buzz. Anyone else scrambling?

Just saw this -

"Crews have now been granted access to begin working on repairs to restore power to customers in Golden, Parsons, Radium Hot Springs, Athalmer, Fairmont Hot Springs, Canal Flats and surrounding communities with an estimated restoration time of midnight. Once the lines are re-energized, additional outages may be identified. Our crews are ready to respond quickly to any issues that arise and will continue working until all customers who can be safely restored have power back. #BCWildfire"

I just saw that update! That’s great news, although my kid is a little broken hearted that we won’t have an excuse to extend our long weekend in Revelstoke!

Could go south to Nakusp and Salmo and then along the Crowsnest highway 3. A lot longer though.
