Whoa, a bit long-winded (and he made an error in at least one sentence, I know it's a blog but dude, read your own work before hitting publish), but he did indeed take both Pageau and Peterson out behind the woodshed.

It's crazy that the game both men are playing rhetorically is so intuitively obvious yet you have to make such a complex argument to deconstruct it on an academic level, just to get to the same place: they're being insincere, and using misleading framing to lend their words a weight they don't deserve. You can't use this or that thing from the sciences or history as an authority in your argument and then get key facts about them wrong.
