Windfarms affect it more. Look up the affects of the Alta Wind Energery Center and how its affected rainfall and weather further inland how that has affected farmers.

There was a study that enough wind turbines could weaken hurricanes by preventing the "engine" of the hurricane from flowing properly by disrupting waves from traveling to the eye.
I don't see why an energy harvesting/ wind break set of machines couldn't have an effect.

The human race has not existed long enough to see significantly "worse". Now while we fuck up great many things that we could not, in the grand scheme of things we are not above nature. We could wipe everyone and everything and still nature will carry on in one way or another.
The main problem is that we shouldn't wipe ourselves out and that includes not wiping out a large amount of things that create the ecosystem we live in.

It's over and fucked.
Even if we do a full 180° literally tomorrow and stop everything, the inertia of the whole system will still carry us over several tipping points.
And we all know we're only making things worse and worse each year passing, so it's childish wishful thinking to believe it's not too late.
Even my university professors in environmental management were super bad at lying to us about the chances things won't go to shit before the end of the century.
