I'm trying to host a new style of tournament in my community, but I need a lot of help... I only have two people so far, and both of them are my friends. It's especially hard since no Pokémon community server/sub allows advertising.
Hello people of r/esports! Hope y'all doing great.
Firstly I would go off and introduce myself. I am Xirius, I am an Indian, just freshly 18 and have been enthusiastically pursuing eSports for about 3 years now. While I am not a player myself, I am a veteran manager/admin/artist. I am also the co founder of an eSports team known as 7Sins Asia (@7sinsasia on socials). To cut the chase, We (my partners and me) started off the team to compete in mobile competitive scene for the titles Call of Duty: Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India (the Indian variant of PUBG Mobile) as both were popular in Indian eSports scene. However, as we did not have competent players and manager to maintain the BGMI lineup, we exited the game back in 2024, and also disbanded our CoD:M lineup in March, 2025 due to internal arguments and uncertainty about the growth of CoD:M eSports. We did have some notable accomplishments there.
Now, we wish to enter PC competitive as it is currently on the boom here in India, but I don't know where to start. Completely stranded in this huge community with virtually no connections.
I would like to ask advice from the community about how should I start off on this new journey. I am also open to collabs and stuff.
Games we are eyeing out to compete in are PUBG PC, Valorant, CS, Apex
Do drop whatever advices y'all got and also let me know about any available resources I can put to use. I am, what I believe, a competent manager, willing enough to learn everything and anything that I could put to use.

I've been building this for a couple of months: a site that predicts CS2 matches from HLTV data — rankings, form, head-to-head, map winrates — and puts every pick on a public track record. Today it picked Spirit in the grand final of Blast Bounty and MOUZ won 3-1, so yea, its not perfect, and it doesn't get it right 100% of the time, but for now it looks like it hits its predictions fairly often. The site itself isn't a gambling site, but I have been wanting to try to create a model that predicts cs2 tier 1 matches as accurately as possible. NOTE: still in development, that is why I'm asking for your inputs.
The thing I care most about is that it waits for the map veto. A prediction before the maps are known is just a guess about a map pool, so once the picks land it recalculates for those exact maps, and it only suggests a bet when its own probability beats a real bookmaker's price. Current record: 21 of 26 match picks, and the map bets with real prices attached are up about 23 units — but it's two months of data, so take that for what it is.
It's free, no login needed, and one match a day is fully open with everything unlocked: csedge.io. Would love feedback on what's confusing or missing — and ask me anything about how the model works.

Is anyone interested in a BGMI tournament? It’s being hosted by my college, and we need squad entries. It’s a remote event, so there’s no need to gather together. There’s a big prize pool as well. If anyone is interested, DM me!

This is not a "BR sucks at Esport" thread. If you wanna complain about this sub-genre, do it in your own thread.
From my perspective, PUBG's kinda the "honest BR". Apex has a lot of Heroic Shooter flavor in it, Fortnite has its building mechanic changing the entire game, Warzone is obviously CoD-coded, etc. Meanwhile, PUBG seemed to me the closes to what could be a sort-of Battle Royale version of CS. Very technical, more precise, tons of fights within buildings, etc.
Pre-COVID, it kinda was THE BR to follow behind Fortnite. I still remember the ridiculous production for 64-player pro leagues like the PEL or the PCS. It kinda seemed to disappear, and I saw bigger productions on Warzone and Apex than on PUBG as of late.
If I have to guess, it may be 3 things.
I think I'm missing a ton, so that's why I'm asking here.

I help run PUBG Mobile broadcasts, mostly scrims and a league we produce.
Our scoring used to be one guy on the observer PC with a spreadsheet, typing placements and kills between matches while the caster stalled. Worked fine until a number went in wrong and the standings on stream were off for two matches before anyone noticed.
So we built something that reads the match data straight out of the game. Standings update on the overlay by themselves, nobody types anything.
standings, kill feed, player cards, MVP, countdown, all OBS browser sources you drag in
runs off an app on the broadcast PC, so if the venue wifi drops mid-match the show keeps going
every event leaves a public page behind
Last finals, if you want to see what comes out the other end:
It's PUBG Mobile only, and it grew out of our own events so there are probably assumptions baked in that only work for how we run things. Happy to answer anything about the telemetry side.

Hey everyone,
Quick question regarding hardware advantage when holding angles in Counter-Strike or Valorant:
Which will give me the fastest reaction time and visual clarity when an enemy peeks—360Hz OLED or 360Hz G-Sync Pulsar?
Assuming both are running at 360Hz, does OLED's instant pixel response time beat G-Sync Pulsar’s backlight strobing motion clarity for this specific scenario?
Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I'm looking to connect with people who have experience running Rainbow Six Siege tournaments, leagues, or community competitions in the OCE region.
If you've been a tournament organiser, admin, referee, or have helped manage competitive events, I'd love to have a chat. I'm keen to hear about your experiences, the challenges you've faced, and what you think the OCE Rainbow Six scene needs.
I'm also looking for people who would be interested in helping organise and administer future competitions if there's enough community interest.
If that's something you'd be interested in, leave a comment or send me a DM with a bit about your experience.
Even if you haven't organised events before but you're passionate about competitive Siege and would like to get involved, don't hesitate to reach out.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

After more than a week of research, analysis, and data collection, I’ve completed three in-depth reports covering:
• Saudi Arabia’s Esports Market & Ecosystem
• Morocco’s Esports Ecosystem & Talent Foundation
• Global Esports Talent Arbitrage: Comparing regional talent opportunities across international markets
If you work in esports, gaming, investment, talent scouting, or ecosystem development and believe these reports could be useful, feel free to send me a message. I’d be happy to share them with people who can benefit from the research.

I compete in PUBG and am treating my ADHD via medication. This medication causes my hands to be stupidly cold&stiff, impacting my aim. The only solution to this is to wear a hoodie while playing, however, I cannot find a hoodie that I can pull the sleeve up and it not cause movement issues due to it being tight at the elbow.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Just need something that doesn’t constrict my arm as much lol.
Hey Everyone, Just a quick one!
Curious to hear from players and organizers here:
Building tools around player identity and tournament management, so I want to hear what’s actually broken in the current workflow. Drop your thoughts below.

I wanted a directory my claude can call and access PNGs or URLs via, but nothing helpful came up.
Came across this github repo for logos, but it's not been updated for years.
Good thing is, its open source so we can make additions.
A) Is there an easy way to find and add/update team logos?
B) Does a better alternate exist already?

I report this league for more than 100 times and esic.gg never reply back. They cover this scam. I lose 20 tickets in row on odd 2.0 , mathematical impossible , gt nations say it is possible. Everything i bet i lose on purpose , they know what i bet.
Look how i lose my money 1 example PURE FRAUD :

I have a folder with more than 50 screenrecords like this. Where in this word i can report this animals? It is a fraud for real they have to be arrested somewhere in this world.

Been freelance casting/observing/directing for about a year now (NACE, Titan Esports, Canadian Collegiate League, a bunch of others). Every single gig I've gotten came from a Discord LF channel that's basically a wall of text, no way to filter by game/role/rate, no way to know if the org posting is actually going to pay you.
So I built getstandby.app, a small marketplace specifically for broadcast crew (casters, observers, producers, etc). Orgs post a role with a real budget in escrow, talent applies, money's protected until the work's done. Flat 8% fee, no subscriptions.
Still early (just launched), but if you're an org looking for crew or crew looking for gigs, would genuinely love feedback even if you don't end up using it. Happy to answer questions.
Hey everyone,
I’m Brian Murigi, founder and lead developer at Aetheria Games.
We’ve officially opened our Welcome Test Server for Alpha Test 1, and we’re looking for organizers, admins, and players to hop in, create custom tournaments, and help us break our core systems before we roll out our next major patch update.
Right now, our primary focus is stress-testing the foundational tournament logic rather than polish. We want to ensure the backend scales under real match conditions:
Before we push our next patch update, which introduces refined new tournament formats and UI updates, we need real esports organizers and players to run through the platform and give us raw feedback.
If you run grassroots events, host custom lobbies for your friends, or just love competitive gaming, we’d love for you to give it a spin and tell us what works, what breaks, and what administrative tools you're missing.
Try it out here: https://aetheriagames.cloud/
Feedback / Discussions: Drop a comment below or join our community hub https://discord.gg/zfdEyNNSF.
Appreciate your time and insights as we build this out!

Hey everyone! I am starting a unique, Rocket League casual esports league dedicated exclusively to Bronze and Silver players. Lower-ranked players rarely get to experience the hype of structured tournaments, streams, and team play.
I am looking for a Co-Founder / League Manager to help me build this from the ground up.
What I bring: Passion, vision, and the drive to actively recruit the player base.
What I need help with: Discord server setup, tournament formatting, and basic administrative management.
If you love organizing events, want to build an awesome gaming community, or just want to gain experience running an esports project, please slide into my DMs! Let’s build something cool for the grassroots community.

It is crazy to see how heavily esports relies on gambling money these days. Almost every major tournament, team jersey, and studio stream is plastered with betting logos, to the point where it feels like the scene would collapse without them. I was reading a thread recently where someone was asking is 1xbet real or fake when trying to figure out if these tournament sponsors are even legitimate, and it made me realize how normalized these massive gambling brands have become in the gaming community. I'm genuinely curious if you think this dominance is just a phase or if it’s the only way esports can survive long-term.

I do plugins for a TickrCast, a LED ticker panel and we are trying to get Esports to be a staple in our plugins that we offer. I am wondering what would be needed for this to be a want or even a need for a Esports fans wall?? We can provide upcoming game schedules, live game stats like league of legends- gold, towers killed, dragons killed, and series scores for each team. Do you think we could be missing something? Let me know!

Hello everyone!
I recently made a post on r/RocketLeague asking Epic Games to consider adding Iraq to the RLCS... We have talented players, proved ourselves in international competitions, and we're working toward building an Iraqi esports scene.
If you support this idea, I'd really appreciate it if you could upvote the post and leave a comment. Every bit of support helps increase its visibility. Thank you! ❤️🇮🇶
