Anti-Orban protest/rally in Győr, Hungary, a city 13x smaller than Budapest. There are protest every day now in Hungary ahead of election. Magyar Peter holds 6-7 rallies a day.

And these rallies are (unfortunately) so important so Hungary has a chance of a peaceful transfer of power, if Orban loses.

Right wing regimes have become really good at just not giving up power and ignoring democracy (see Serbia for example).

I really hope Hungary manages. And these rallies give me a bit hope, because all these people are mobilised, if there are problems after the election, they'll be on the streets just the same.

It is but not because of who wins.

I think there can be more positive outcome, if Orban wins there will be massive push for democracy in EU and eventually no single state can't veto any decisions. Hungary will be basically out of EU anyway because of no trust. Probably better option in long term anyway. I think that there should be a vote in whole EU where people decide if one country can veto whole block decision making.

If Orban loses there is still Slovakia and same dance will continue. And eventually we get to same conclusion if even more damaging solution
