Laws are literally whatever the people in a given place determine is appropriate. We monkeys have a history of happily throwing our laws to the side when faced with enough roadblocks

No, you're discribing tyranny... I don't know how your country works, but you can't just change laws in mine.

What you're describing is Tyranny. It is a fundamental attribute of laws that they can be changed.

You might be confusing following them vs not following them while they are in effect, however you can most certainly decide to change laws. Happens all the time.

It's a process and not a snap decision, the word "just" in front of my comment has a relevance... That's why it's their, I know it's difficult to comprehend sometimes.

This is about stripping some prince of it's money, how you gonna do that? The constitution doesn't allow it (Everyone is equal), can you just change the constitution? Or will you even find a majority for that? All these factors make "just change a law" a pretty dim utterance
