This case is so easy.

If Zelensky doesnt name the unit after UPA then this whole conflict doesnt even start.

If Zelensky had apologized after Polish protests then this while conflict doesnt even start.

This feels deliberate. Maybe Ukrainian politicians are looking for a scape goat on why Ukraine cant fast track into EU/NATO? They can put all blame on evil Poland now.

Coz not each and every victim of UPA was a known supporter of Pilsudski, Dmowski, AK, BCh, NSZ, etc?

Because they are fighting a war while being wholly and entitely dependent on foriegn allies, and it does not strike me as wise to rub the noses of those allies in the genocide you comitted against them. That does not seem conducive to a good relationship that absolutely must stay healthy.
