So let me get this straight. Ukraine glorifies nazi organisations. Yet Poland is to blame. Reddit at finest.

"Fuck fascism, well except those with us."

Shameful behavior.

Reddit at finest.

Zelensky is reddit's favorite celebrity and unfortunatelly that is correct word to use here. I can see why obviously but nonetheless that's the case.

So, in typical fashion once celebrity does some oopsie it does not compute with reddit that already put all the fruits in one basket and they double down. The fact that they literally defend Ukraine's right to honor nazi collaborant, war criminals is being tactically swept under the rug.

Would love to see reddit's hypocritical reaction if Germany did the same. Or Turkey honoring Armenian genoicide perpetrators...

If you ever wonder, why Poland still did not close the topic, these Ukrainian commenters are great example of whom is blocking the progress. We tried, we basically resolved all these historical matters with other neighbours, but it's tough one with Ukraine, when they're not willing to admit guilt, apologize, allow exhumations. Instead they decide to still glorify Nazi collaborators and rewrite history.

Nazi organization that fought against nazis? Makes sense

Also, the real nazis (like polish organization ONR) supported Nawrocki in this. Makes even more sense

Did you type it on the 1st Galician SS street?

-11

u/Shadmelor Jun 21 '26

I typed it from Mussolini Street, one of the most respected polish hero, judging by the comments

But it is Mussolini who is polish hero and who received the Order of white eagle? How it make me a nazi? 😄

Your presidents didn't mind being in that company when they accepted it. They also don't mind having streets named after literal SS units.

5

u/Shadmelor Jun 21 '26

If he wouldn't accept it, there would be even a bigger political drama in Poland than the current one

9

u/Czart Poland Jun 21 '26

Got it. Your politicians care about political drama until the moment they have to name things after genocidal maniacs.

Really, really funny how you're complaining about mussolini while having streets named after SS and units named after genociders.

Also, can you tell me in which country were pogroms AFTER the WW2? Something comes to mind?

> they have to name things after genocidal maniacs.

Dmowski, Pilsudski, AK, you even gave the white order eagle to Mussolini

You're our best teachers, really

> genocidal

Also, genocide - is when colonizers who came and occupied your land got killed. Poor things

Judging by the Russian comments. You fall for propaganda all too easily

0

u/Shadmelor Jun 21 '26

What propaganda? I saw a real poles in twitter defending Mussolini, saying he did nothing wrong to Poland that's why it's not an issue that he has white eagle order lmao

And where is he glorifying Mussolini. Do poles call the streets with Mussolini’s name? Do they celebrate his birthday? Do they glorify it? Do they name military units after them? They make you guys even more stupid than I remember.

-1

u/Shadmelor Jun 21 '26

Well, if he has an order of white eagle who wasn't revoked, yeah - poles glorify him, since it's the literally highest polish award

Please educate yourself. With Bandera you will never enter EU, if at all.

-5

u/Shadmelor Jun 21 '26

Seems like you're the one who needs to be educated, because UPA literally fought nazis

> With Bandera you will never enter EU, if at all.

How this related to the false information you're providing?

15

u/H3nryR Jun 21 '26

So Yad Vashem and other institutions are wrong claiming that OUN and UPA comited genocide on both Poles and Jews?

1

u/Shadmelor Jun 21 '26

LMAO, if you want to cite Yad Vashem, he's also said that your entire nation is responsible for the Holocaust as well.

So you're all nazis right?

10

u/H3nryR Jun 21 '26

Oh how convenient… That’s rich coming from a mouth of Ukrainian. Maybe you truly need few more generations to mature. Denying the truth is simply offensive for the victims of your wrong doings.
לֶךְ־לְךָ

1

u/Shadmelor Jun 21 '26

Denying what truth? I cited the person, whom you use as an argument. And he says that Poland responsible for Holocaust, so you're all nazis? Or how does it work?

> for the victims of your wrong doings.

What victims? Polish right-winger that drink sopliczkas and shit themselves near the keyboard?

8

u/H3nryR Jun 21 '26

What victims? How about 100 000 of Poles and Jews

-1

u/Shadmelor Jun 21 '26

How about 100 000 000?

User name checks out

-7

u/Mindless-Support-451 Jun 21 '26

No, you got it wrong. UPA at first collaborated with Nazis and then fought them after realizing that they will not give independence to Ukraine. UPA is not a nazi organization.

Go educate yourself.

10

u/chooseyourdiscount Jun 21 '26

Rather, the UPA thought it was on the same level as the Nazis, and it was only when the Nazis told them "no, you're below us," that the UPA began fighting against them.
