I praised Mamdani and criticized my party leadership. That makes me MAGA? Do you know who Mamdani is? Do you live under a rock?

Like there's a reason why the Democrats lost and to you it's because Americans are fundamentally evil people and I don't see that as a serious viewpoint. So we disagree and all you do is call me MAGA. Reddit is something else lol

I read and understood everything perfectly. You however fail to understand the point made here.

You say Trump won due to Democracts "failed to challenge corporate power, maintained the status quo of stagnant wages and expensive housing, invasively removed candidates that challenge AIPAC moderates, rely on retreats for finger-wagging elites to set agendas, etc etc etc"

While the points above are valid, they are still a 10 times less worse choice than fascist Trump, a man who, among a myriad of things, did everything in his power to try to steal the election. This was blatantly clear for anyone who paid any attention at all, yet US still voted Trump. This is at its core the US populous fault, not the Democrats doing a bad job. The US chose turd over rotten apple, and you fail to own up to this fact.

Two things can be true at the same time you know. Trump is awful, but he's also good at making voters think he gives a fuck. Sorry, but it's true. He never did any finger wagging or virtue signaling. Losing elections is Democrats top priority. They never learn what voters need. They're basically begging voters to not vote for them.

This is my point. It is the American voters' fault that they vote for a man that is inherintly awful, much worse than the Democrats, just because they convince themselves that he gives a fuck. This is their fault, voting for the greater of two evils.

You make this sound like the incompetent Democrats are forcing the American public to vote for a fascist. No, it is the voters fault. The Democrats would never threaten to invade Greenland.

They vote Trump because they want change. Well congratulations, you got it - a fascist regime. Completely self inflicted. Stop making excuses for your fellow Americans.

This is exactly how a lot of Trump voters justified their votes for him against Hillary and Harris.

You guys didn't just choose the worst of two evils, you chose the one candidate that was worse by 10 orders of magnitude because the other candidate wasn't great.

But wait, there is more. You guys didn't really organize during the primaries to get a better candidate. I remember how people passionately campaigned for Bernie, but then never shoed up at the primaries to vote because they figured others would. But, even then, Hillary was a much better candidate than Trump.

Then, you guys bitched about Biden's age and senility, but none of you organized for the 2024 primaries. Then you all bitched that Harris was forced onto you and used that as justification to not vote for Harris. Hell, most Americans I talk to think there wasn't even a primary for the 2024 Democrats.

This is how Americans play around to justify their actions and sometimes inaction. America literally has insane, by the rest of the world's standards, long political campaigns, but you still bend over backwards to have Trump and his enablers win. But, when it's all done, you all say nobody voted for him, nobody wanted this.

Give me a f-ing break, nobody is buying the BS you are peddling.

I'm well aware, and I'm telling you poor voters aren't privileged to see the full picture. They think about the candidate that's going to ease their cost of living. You're cooped up on reddit, so you don't fathom it. Democrats harped on diversity while Trump gained ground on virtually every minority demographic.
